Improved JewelTweaker operational

An improved version of the JewelTweaker application is now available on

http://www.jeweltweaker.com

System requirements are:

  • Windows Internet Explorer 8 (other browsers have not been tested but Firefox and Google Chrome look also fine)
  • Adobe Flash Player version 10
  • Java script enabled
  • Webcam for the Augmented Reality Viewer.

Added functionality is:

  • possibility to load or save your design locally (the file extension is .ogml)
  • some inspirational designs can be found in the gallery
  • to generate and locally save a 3D-printable file of your design (file extension is .stl which is the common file format for rapid manufacturing applications)
  • a help page containing the markers needed to preview your design using your webcam

Anyone who wishes to have his cufflink manufactured is free to play around and generate his own design. The first three .stl files send to michiel.willemse@tno.nl will be printed for free!
